Supply List and Instructions:\r
\r
This is what we used for a 9 - 10 tree\r
\r
2 30 rolls of green Crushed Metallic wide Ribbon\r
2 30 rolls of red Crushed Metallic wide Ribbon\r
2 30 rolls of red Wired Ribbon\r
Green Chenille stems (pipe cleaners)\r
3 Glittered Coils\r
5 - 7 Glittered grasses\r
5 - 7 Glittered pom poms\r
ornaments\r
\r
We bought the crushed metallic and wired ribbon at a Wholesale Florist that is open to the public. For a 7 - 8 tree, you would probably just need one bundle of the garland; but if you bought enough for 2 bundles, you would have some leftover to use in other parts of the house.\r
\r
To Prepare your garland, gather all three elements. the red metallic ribbon, the green metallic ribbon, and the red wired ribbon and secure together with a green chenille stem. Using more chenille stems, scrunch the garland every 24 or so.\r
\r
Once you have got the entire length, secure one end to the top of the tree, making sure the end will be hidden by the topper. Drape the garland down from the top, securing each section to the tree with the chenille. Stand back often, to make sure you are spacing it correctly. Keep going until you have reached the bottom. \r
\r
Add the Glittered coils from the top and go down the tree, letting it curl and twist. secure where needed.\r
\r
Add the glittered grass and pom poms around the tree for a balanced look.\r
\r
Storage: Wendy stores her garland as is in big bags; but you could also take them back apart and roll them up, so as not to take up so much room. You will be able to use these ribbons for years to come.
