This is a painting of a tree in the valley with soft pastel on Canson art board. This video here is to show how I made this painting and also step by step instruction will help others to learn how to draw and paint such landscape using soft pastel. I hope you will like this. \r

A flat brush for underpainting\r
Rubbing Alcohol (70% Isopropyl Alcohol) for underpainting\r

Land Section 1: Brunt Umber, Cinnabar Green, Burnt Sienna\r
Land Section 2: Deep Yellow, Burnt Sienna\r
Land Section 3: Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna\r
Land Section 4: Deep Yellow, Yellow Ochre \r
Land Section 5: Light Red Oxide\r
Tree: Deep Olive Green, Black\r
