I “Joe Cova Duo” sono un duo chitarristico formato da Giordano Cova (voce e chitarra) e Simone Prezzo (chitarre).
Il duo nasce nel giugno del 2017 e, oltre a dedicarsi all'attività concertistica, ha inciso un album di brani inediti uscito ad aprile 2018. Lo stile musicale è incentrato sulla canzone d’autore italiana, con diverse influenze dal blues al folk, dallo swing alla musica popolare. I testi (in italiano) trattano i temi più vari, con un’attenzione particolare ai contesti sociali e politici contemporanei e alle vicende di attualità italiana ed europea.
The "Joe Cova Duo" is a guitar duo formed by Giordano Cova (voice and guitar) and Simone Prezzo (guitars).
The duo was born in June 2017 and they recorded their first album of unreleased tracks released in April 2018. The musical style is focused on Italian songwriting, with different influences from blues to folk, from swing to popular music. The lyrics (in Italian) deal with the most varied themes, with particular attention to contemporary social and political contexts and to current events in Italy and Europe.
