चरणामृत दो शब्दों से मिलकर बना है। चरण और अमृत। इसका सीधा सा अर्थ हुआ- भगवान के चरणों का अमृत। जिस जल से भगवान को स्नान कराया जाता है, वह जल उनकी प्रतिमा से होता हुआ चरण तक आता है और फिर नीचे बहता है। इसी जल को चरणामृत कहा जाता है यानी भगवान का स्पर्श किया हुआ जल। यह जल पवित्र माना जाता है और इसका पान करना यानी इसे पीना सौभाग्य। आइए आचार्य अजय द्विवेदी से जानते है चरणामृत के महत्व और कथा के बारें में
