PRESENTED BY AMANDA MUIRHEAD
Rebecca Smith was born in Columbia, South Carolina and brought her unique pop-folk songwriting to Charleston four years ago when she began her education at the College of Charleston. Since then, Smith has earned two bachelor's degrees and a lifetime's worth of experiences in the Holy City.
Smith's lyricism exhibits the wisdom of someone who has lived much longer than her 22 years. Rebecca is a musician with a message. She uses her music to represent her peers, the kids who grew up too soon, and to call for peace and love in a chaotic world.
As an up-and-comer in the Charleston community, there are few musicians better-suited for this artistic responsibility than Rebecca Smith. With the help of her Kickstarter backers, family, and friends, she is currently recording her first full-length, original album at Truphonic Studios. As her music grows, so do you, and what better kind of soundtrack is there to put to your life?
