Benji Harris has earned the reputation as one of Nashville’s most talented mainstay musicians. A sought-after musical director and studio musician, Benji brings his signature brand of guitar playing and harmony vocals to many of Music City’s best and brightest artists. He was a founding member of the country-rock trio Scarletta, which was recognized as a “Top Trio in Nashville” by Billboard Magazine, CMA Close Up, and Nashville Lifestyles Magazine in 2013. He has toured nationally and internationally, and has shared the stage with some of music's biggest stars.
Benji is also an accomplished songwriter. He signed his first publishing deal in 2010 with RPM Music Group, where he worked closely with Grammy-winning producer Blake Chancey (Dixie Chicks, Montgomery Gentry). Together they had a Top 20 radio hit with Scarletta’s “Right Here Right Now”, which became the highest charting independent release of 2012. The music video for the song also received national attention, spending eight weeks on the CMT 12-Pack Countdown. Recently Benji has had several major label song cuts, and has signed a new publishing deal with Rusty Harmon (Hootie and the Blowfish) of Harmon Music Management. Now a solo artist, Benji is in the studio working on his debut EP, due Summer of 2017.
