Investors classified as "foreign" were net buyers in the open market on Bursa Malaysia for the eleventh consecutive week for the week ended July 4th, but the amount acquired was relatively insignificant at 50 million ringgit.

MIDF Research head ,Zulkifli Hamzah said the 50 million ringgit was not much of an improvement from the 25 million ringgit purchased the week before, explaining that the strong flow of liquidity into Asian equity last week did not spill over to Bursa Malaysia.
