Pokhara is the third largest city of Nepal after

Kathmandu and Biratnagar
Pokhara is the one of the most beautiful city and one of

the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. It is

also known as the Tourist capital of Nepal and the city

of lakes .

Pokhara is situated in the northwestern corner of the

Pokhara Valley at an elevation of about 827 metres

above sea level .

The climate of Pokhara is slightly warmer than Kathmandu.
Temperature-- around 15 degrees Celsius in winter and 35

degrees in summer daytime . The monsoon season start from

mid- jun and its end mid- september .Pokhara records the

highest rainfall in the country.
Best time to visit is between October and April

Kathmandu to Pokhara 6 flights per day, 1h 10m duration.
Kathmandu to Pokhara by road 200 km takes 7 hours by

tourist bus .
Local bus available from Kathmandu local busstand
