Women are very expressive because they’ve been taught by society that it is acceptable to be emotional, soft creatures. Men on the other hand have been taught to repress the notion of softness because it displays weakness. Women can talk forever probably because they often talk about how they feel about things— which could take up forever, due to the common problem of women overthinking simple things with great intensity.
How do you know if a guy is just passing his time with a girl?
His behavior might give you a clue. But again, that depends on how good you are at reading his mind and body language. Other than that, he will share his intentions of whether he is serious or not, with his best friend. You can befriend his bestie and try to extract the desired information, by taking him in confidence.
P.S.- Better to NOT be with a guy if you aren't sure about his seriousness towards you.
