Hundreds of bright yellow vehicles on Saturday took part in a rally through the Cotswold village of Bibury in the UK.

The event took place in support of 84-year-old Peter Maddox whose own bright yellow car was vandalised earlier this year by people who claimed the "ugly" vehicle was ruining the picturesque village.

The word "move" was scratched into the bonnet of his Vauxhall Corsa, which was parked outside Maddox's cottage in Arlington Row, Bibury.

Panels on the car were also scratched and a window and the rear windscreen were smashed.

The cottages of Arlington Row are featured on the inside cover of the British passport and are some of the most photographed homes in the UK.
