Trump axes acting AG after she declines to defend travel ban

President Donald Trump fired acting Attorney General Sally Yates Monday night after she told the Justice Department not to defend his executive order on immigration. Dana Boente, US attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, was sworn in minutes after and issued a statement rescinding Yates' order. Trump's executive order bars citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S. for the next 90 days, suspends the admission of all refugees for 120 days and indefinitely suspends the Syrian refugee program.
