FOR CHICKEN:
chicken 1 kg with bones
tandoori masala 1 packet
green chilies 3 ,garlic 1 floret ,ginger 1 inch piece
(grind to make a paste)
salt to taste
black pepper crushed 1/2 tsp
lemon juice 2 tbsp
yogurt 1 -1/2 cup ( marinate chicken with these ing for 30 mins)
oil 1 cup
coal 3 small pieces
basmati rice 3 cup (soaked for 30 minutes)
capsicum any color 1-1/2 cup ,carrots 2 med ,onion 1 large
(all veggies cut into julienne) green onion 2 stalks chopped
crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp , salt to taste for veggies
marinate chicken for 1/2 hour then put 1/2 cup oil in a pan and cook chicken in yogurt water til tender and soft.
pour 2 tbsp oil in a pan and stir fry vegetables for 2 ,3 mins and add black pepper crushed , boil rice completely with salt to taste.
burn a piece of coal and put it on a foil on the rice and pour 2,3 drops oil .when fumes come cover the lid and simmer 10,12 minutes.
do same with vegetables and set them a side.
mean while chicken will cooked completely and all liquid gets evaporate,keep some gravy in it if you want.now give chicken smoke effect by doing the same method of burnt coal.now make a layer of rice on a serving plate and set vegetables on sides,put chicken with some gravy on top .garnish with green onions and serve.
