A new intelligence report released Friday revealed the Russian president Vladimir Putin "ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the U.S. presidential election." Additionally, the report says that Russia attempted to discredit Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. The CIA, FBI and NSA all contributed to the report with the FBI having "high confidence" in this judgement. The unclassified report was released shortly after Trump was briefed during a "constructive" meeting with the heads of the major intelligence agencies.
