Istanbul bombing: 29 dead, 166 wounded at soccer stadium

Two bombs went off near an Istanbul stadium after a soccer match, killing 29 people and wounding 166, according to Turkey's interior minister. The attack, which intended to target police officers, left 27 officers dead, according to Turkish officials. Ten people have already been detained in connection with the attack,Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said. The first bomb, which was believed to be a car bomb, exploded at around 10:30 p.m. near the newly built Vodafone Arena Stadium. The second explosion struck Macka Park and was believed to be a suicide bomb. No terror group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
