History was made at the Miss Minnesota USA beauty pageant when Halima Aden became the first contestant to wear a hijab and burkini. The 19-year-old Somali-American woman reached the semifinals wearing a hijab and, during the bathing suit competition, a burkini. Halima Arden told MPR News
