Apple Music notches 17 million subscribers

Apple Music continues to grow, hitting 17 million total subscribers the company announced Wednesday. Apple Music added two million subscribers to its arsenal since June when the company hit 15 million subscribers. Rival Spotify announced in August that it had accumulated 39 million total subscribers. Apple CEO Tim Cook touted his platform's exclusive releases by the likes of Drake and Taylor Swift as one reason to choose Apple Music over Spotify.
