Description: On the south edge of Juneau is the Mount Roberts Tramway which was built 20 years ago (2006). The tramway is just a short walk from the cruise ship docks and rises 1800 feet above Juneau. A gift shop, restaurant and nature center awaits you at the top and on a clear day the view is breathtaking. We saw a few moments of clearing while we were at the summit!
