Elvis...because Elvis!

Today, the Mig-21bis is a museum piece in many countries, but she still is used in Global conflicts.
Originally conceived as a Point Defense Interceptor, the Mig-21 was intended to shoot down bombers the Mig-17 was too slow to catch. Today, the Mig-21bis performs ground attack and recon missions over Syria.

I'm not really a militaristic guy, but I love planes from all eras. Warplanes tend to be the best performing planes. I love rides like the Albatros D.V, Fokker DVII, SPAD VII, P-51 Mustang, Mig-17, Mig-21, Mirage 2000, F-14 Tomcat, and Su-35. I wouldn't want to kill folks with any of those planes, but it would be amazing to fly any one of them. I do intend to get a Civil Pilot license, but I don't ever expect to joyride in a supersonic Interceptor. I don't mind, I can sim fly an incredibly fast Fishbed.

She is pretty fast, even by today's standards of fast. She won't outrun an SR-71, but the list of planes she can't outrun is pretty short. She'll outrun them, at least till she runs out of fuel. Near the ground, moving fast, she runs through fuel in a hurry!

I start this video with half of the possible internal fuel load. I put my afterburner on and off stage 1, intermittently, basically mostly on when I'm flying upright and off when I'm upside down. I do this, so I can optimize the number of seconds I can fly upside down, without accidentally cutting out the engine. I run out of fuel by the end of this video. Near the end of the video, you can see a little red light blinking, warning me about low fuel.

The video is pretty simple, it is from my gameplay point of view, plus music. I had some compression issues or what not. In the video, now and again, there are micro pauses. This has to do with my recording method, I think. I'll work it out for next time.
