Chicago gangbanger gunned down while filming video selfie

CHICAGO — Dramatic video livestreamed to Facebook shows the moments a gangbanger is gunned down in front of a convenience store in broad daylight.
The shooting took place on Thursday in the 5500 block of South Hoyne in the city's south side, where most of its gun violence and murders occur.
In the video, the man can be seen bragging that the convenience store behind him had opened to provide a place for kids to duck and hide because he was on the streets.
It's not long before the man is shot in an apparently targeted shooting.
Police say he's a known gang member who previously served just four years on a second-degree murder charge. Reports quote residents as saying the man had just recently moved back to the area.
