In early 2006, while UTN1 resided in London, two of the band members journeyed back to Iraq.
They were deeply struck by the affects of war and what it had done to their homeland. Upon their return to Europe, they were inspired to write a song about the war - promoting hope and peace in a time of ultimate devastation(Although they spent all their lives in Iraq during three wars).
"While We Can" is a message about changing one's perspective, respecting one another, ending the violence, and beginning to rebuild our lives.
