FONTANA, CALIFORNIA — The body of a missing San Diego woman was found Friday on a Fontana man's property.

Alejandra Carrion Gutierrez, 27, was last seen leaving her apartment in San Ysidro on Dec. 30 at about 10 p.m. Gutierrez was heading to her boyfriend's house in Fontana.

According to the Fontana Police Department, detectives investigating her disappearance uncovered information that led them to home of Cesar Rosales, 40, in the 8200 block of Reseda Avenue.

A search warrant was served and with the assistance of a cadaver dog, authorities discovered Gutierrez's body buried on the property.

"During the interview, Rosales admitted to the homicide and burying the body in his yard," Fontana Police Department representative Martha Guzman-Hurtado told CBS Los Angeles.

Family members of the victim reported her missing on Dec. 31. Her vehicle was found later near the Fontana/Rialto city border on Jan. 10.

Rosales was booked at the West Valley Detention Center.

The exact nature of Rosales' relationship with Gutierrez has yet to be disclosed and details of the homicide are still under investigation.
