Syria: A Road Map to End Crisis

In absence of an international solution to the Syrian crisis, leaders from Iran, Iraq, Palestine and other countries met in Damascus to develop a road map to end the crisis. The settlement would be based on the Geneva decisions and meetings in Moscow, followed by the establishment of a national unity government as well as action against terrorism. It would stress the unity of Syria above all political differences and the role of the army as the mainstay of the state and the protector of its citizens. The conference coincides with the Western-backed opposition meeting taking place in Riyadh. Hazem Abdullah reports from Damascus for teleSUR
