Deux jeunes femmes sont retrouvées mortes, sauvagement assassinées, dans un cimetière. La mère d'une des deux victimes engage David Peterson, ancien policier maintenant détective privé, pour retrouver le meurtrier de sa fille.
"Futurex" une multinationale très influente semble être au cœur de l'affaire. Son président, Georges Liar (père de la seconde victime), utilise alors ses liens avec les médias pour étouffer l'affaire...
