National crime rate lower than Britain's

Despite what seems to be the contrary, Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein and Minister in the the PM's department, Idris Jala, claim that the crime rate is not as alarming as it would seem.
Jala says that the country's crime ratio of 750 cases per 100,000 population is lower than countries like Britain which has 7,500 cases.
