A single-seater race car has been teased by Honda. Many are dubbing it as the Project 2 & 4 concept for which an international design competition was held by the company. Although not much can be made out about the car from the pictures, one can take an educated guess about the positioning of the engines. It seems the engines will most likely be housed on one side of the car.

The car seems to have a cabin less design and combines best of the technologies that are available in the motorcycle and four-wheeler world. For instance, the engine of the car is that of a bike. The RC213V-S currently powers the road going version of one of Honda’s MotoGP bikes.

The Project 2 & 4 concept has been designed by two of Honda’s best design institutes - the Motorcycle Design Studio in Asaka and its Car Design Studio in Wako, Japan.
