Toyota C-HR Concept Based Compact SUV Come to India?

Reports suggest Toyota is preparing to bring in a new SUV for the international markets based on its C-HR concept. This new SUV will be Toyota’s candidate for the fight against Nissan Qashqai and Honda HR-V. The C-HR concept, on which the SUV will be based, was first revealed at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Not much is known about the new SUV, but it has been heard that it will be based on Toyota’s equivalent of Volkswagen MQB platform – the Toyota New Global Architecture. It is also a possibility that it will be a four wheel drive car. As we had seen in the C-HR concept, it had tremendous interior space, almost equal to the Nissan Qashqai, even though the car was significantly smaller in size.
The new Toyota SUV will make its first appearance at next year’s Geneva Motor Show. Only then things will become clearer.
