The Tata Kite is one of the much awaited cars this byear and we can now tell you that it is almost ready for launch. We will now take the lead in bringing you all the confirmed specifications and design features of the car.
The design of the Kite has been heavily influenced by the Tata Zest and Tata Bolt. Features like bug-shaped headlights, large ORVMs, honeycomb grille, large windscreen, and wrapped around taillights have been borrowed to the Kite from those two cars.
On the inside, the car gets dual tone back and baige plastic dash, multifunctional steering, rectangular AC vents and 2-DIN music system. The engine of the Kite would be a 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol and a 1.05-liter three-cylinder diesel unit. The engines would be mated to either a 5-speed manual or an automatic manual transmission as both these options will be offered to customers. It will also feature an e-clutch system where the driver can go to first gear without even using the clutch.
