Chevrolet has confirmed that they will be offering both a diesel and a petrol version of a compact sedan based on its popular Beat hatchback and the car will make its debut in India sometime in 2017.
Chevrolet hasn’t had that much of a successful outing in the Indian market except for the Beat and maybe that’s why the company wants to improve its future riding on it.
Not much is known about the upcoming Beat notchback but we can certainly tell you that it will be a sub 4 meter car and will have styling elements borrowed from the new Chevrolet Spark that was recently launched in South Korea. Just like the Beat it will use Chevrolet’s M300 platform and will have a 1.0-liter motor running it for both the versions.
