One of the most famous automakers Mahindra & Mahindra introduced the new-generation Scorpio is known to all. but did you know, the company has now launched Automatic variant that’s priced at Rs. 13.13 lakhs?
Well, the 2WD version costs Rs. 13.13 lakhs and Rs. 14.33 lakhs for 4WD. The Scorpio will be available in 11 trim levels with a choice of two engines - 2.5 liter M2DICR diesel and 2.2 liter mHawk.
The Scorpio S10 AT’s 2.2-litre mHawk diesel generates 120bhp with 280 newton meters of torque. Considering the fact that it is the high-end version, it’s fully-loaded in terms of provisions for safety and comfort; it gets ABS, EBD, dual airbags and more.
With Hyundai Creta's launch scheduled for 21st July, 2015 - it looks the utility carmaker stands the chance to get the first mover's advantage though the Creta is not a direct competitor for the Scorpio.
