After getting introduced in February at Geneva Auto Show this year, the 2016 Skoda Superb has started its road testing in India. Yes…right now, right here, we say loud and clear, the automaker has begun testing of the 3rd generation of Superb.
The latest iteration was snapped in India, where the automaker has its plant. It has grown by 80mm in length and looks sharper unlike its predecessor. Exterior features include projector headlights, Led DRLs, multi stat chrome front grille, and C-shaped LED taillights.
2016 Skoda Superb will be powered by 2.0 liter TDI, 1.8 liter TSI and 2.0 liter bi-turbo diesel engines. It will be mated to a DSG transmission. This time, you can expect a lot of localization to ensure Skoda can price Superb competitively. The third generation Superb will be introduced at 2016 Auto Expo and will compete with Renault Talisman, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry.
