Pope Stresses Dialogue in Ecuador Visit

During his just concluded 3-day visit to Ecuador, Pope Francis stressed the themes of social equality and peaceful dialogue. In an interview with teleSUR, Ecuadoran President Rafael Correa lauded the Pontiff's message, and vowed to continue seeking a dialogue with the opposition despite the latter's opposition. However, Correa explained, this does not mean pleasing everyone. He added that the government would address the country's conflicts adequately and carefully.
