NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Pakistan military forces have killed 2763 terrorists during operation Zarb-e-Azb that was launched in June last year in North Waziristan, ARY News reported.
Military spokesman Asim Bajwa while highlighting achievements of the operation said that so far at least 2763 terrorists were killed while 837 hide outs were destroyed and 253 tons explosive recovered.
On June 15, 2015, Pakistan Army initiated an operation with the motive to eliminate the terrorists regardless of hue and color, along with their sanctuaries. During one year progress military forces attained significant achievements in FATA specially North Waziristan and Khyber Agency.
It was stated that terrorists using North Waziristan as a base, had waged a war against the state of Pakistan and had been disrupting national life in all its dimensions. Operation Zarb-e-Azb verified the thought as huge number of weapons were recovered since last year.
