Students, Teachers and Mapuches Protest in Chile

Students held a kick-about in which they threw soccer balls against the Education Ministry in their ongoing protests demanding free, quality education. The protest was held on the same day that the Copa America Soccer Tournament begins. At the same time, a group of Mapuche indigenous people blocked the road leading to the city of Temuco. They are protesting the expansion of the Temuco airport on indigenous ancestral lands. teleSUR
