Venezuela: Serra Assassination Becoming Increasingly Clarified

The Venezuelan judicial system says it is moving closer to identifying all the participants in last October's assassination of Robert Serra, a National Assembly member from the United Socialist Party of Venezuela. Former Colombian politician Julio Velez, involved in paramilitary activity in his native country, was detained in Venezuela on Wednesday, accused of financing Serra's murder. Twelve suspects have already been arrested, many of them tied to former right-wing Colombian president Alvaro Uribe. teleSUR
