This new performance hatchback of VW is actually based upon the Golf R400 concept that was unveiled at Beijing a year back, but it also owe some clues to the Golf R worth of 300PS.
Since working out the difference against the Golf R, it came the set of big alloy wheels, front spoiler lip, roof mounted wing and lowered sports suspension are the distinctions worked out for the new hatch.
However, no affirmation is lent by the Volkswagen on this, but speculated it will produce something between 300 to 400 horsepower with an all-wheel drive system and DSG gearbox.
