Guided Fate Paradox - the easy way to obtain rank 6 items in bulk
Rank 6 items - they're powerful, they last a long time, they're expensive, and they're hard to get. This is because rank 6 stuff doesn't start showing up until floor 71 of EX advanced martial arts, the game's most difficult dungeon, difficult mainly because of the 30x area stat multiplier (it's 33x at floor 71, 34x at floor 81). You'd think that, given that you have to go so deep into it, that you won't be able to use enough dives to get there. There is a way. I can routinely reach floor 90. The key is the frugal eater mod and a flexible divinigram setup.
First, unequip every single angel. This allows you to obtain more rank 6 items as needed. Next, in the divinigram, add frugal eater and all 3 capacity up mods, with all 6 energy sources directed to the large one. That maxes the pouch size at 64. Obtain 1 exit and 63 dives next. To get dives, you need the total level king, obtained by using an exit twice (just buy 2 exits, enter a dungeon, use the exit, and repeat once more). Lastly, save your game. You may need to reload this often.
Enter EX advanced and use the dives. Ignore the enemies - you won't need to face any of them. When you reach a caravan, adjust the divinigram to direct more energy sources to frugal eater, to maximize its effectiveness:
60-64: 0 sources
56-59: 1 sources
51-55: 2 sources
47-50: 3 sources
42-46: 4 sources
38-41: 5 sources
Below 38: 6 sources
After floor 70's caravan, check the immediate area for any items of the type you're after. If there's any enemies around, don't bother attempting after it. If no enemies are around, make each step very carefully - check the map. If you get sighted by an enemy, stop what you're doing immediately and use a dive. Treasure crabs and the syringe series are fine as they're harmless and never attack. If you know the enemies' range of attack well, you can keep going but don't move in their line of fire.
At floor 80's caravan, check the shop to see if any rank 6 items you're after are available. If not, just continue diving. If you have less than 4 dives left and the shop doesn't have what you're after, simply choose "give up" in the caravan and reload your save, attempting again. If you run out of dives midway to a caravan, use the exit and reload.
If the shop does have what you're after, buy that item, completely filling the pouch. Don't forget you can readjust the divinigram and sell extra exits and dives so you have the maximum possible space. Equip the stuff on the angels to get even more space. When you're done, choose "escape" instead of "next floor", then save your game.
I create the level 6 misc item right after this, from the 3 level 5s I had before. This level 6 misc item is quite the beast! But level 7 is so tempting... and so far away. I can already handle EX advanced on all burst equipment quite easily. Max stats for the level 6 misc: 2906% HP, 2723% ATK, 2102% DEF, 204% HIT, and 738% SPD.
