India Made Mercedes-Benz C-Class C220 CDI Diesel Launched

Apparently, the chant of ‘Make in India’ has eloped in Mercedes-Benz as well. For its most attainable sedan, C-Class, Benz started the local manufacturing at its Pune facility. And not of a doubt, the quality is said to remain the same as of those earlier brought imported units, unlike its price which is reduced by Rs 2 lakh at Rs 37.90 lakh.
However, apart from the quality, on an expected note the maker removed certain features, which were earlier available on the fully imported models, for e.g. the mood lighting and illuminated door sills.
Hence, we just believe, the market share shall not low down the share of this new C-Class, because it boasts great expectation to Mercedes. After all, the BMW and Audi are up to grab the slot with their 3-Series and A4 sedans respectively.
