Nightmare nanny squatter Diane Stretton says she will move out of California home on her terms

A California caretaker has earned the nickname, the "Nightmare Nanny" after refusing to move out after being fired from job as a live-in domestic helper.
After running a background check on 64-year-old Diane Stretton, Marcella and Ralph Bracamonte hired her in March to take care of the couple's three children and help out around the house.
Things were great at first, but then Stretton just stopped helping out. She was fired in early June.
"She quit working about a month before I ever fired her. She would just stay in her room," the Bracamonte family told media.
To make matters worse, even after being fired, Stretton refused to leave.
First the Bracamonte family called police who were unable to intervene on a "civil matter." Next, the couple attempted to make things so unpleasant Stretton would want to move out, for example disconnecting the cable and locking the refrigerator at night.
But Stretton was very knowledgeable about California rental laws. She threatened to sue the Bracamonte's and even demanded they vacate the house from 8am-8pm each day.
Now it seems Stretten may have had a change of heart. She recently claimed she will move out on July 4th as long a the weather is nice. The Bracamonte family, rightfully so, is skeptical this will actually occur.
Local media is reporting Stretton is on the California's Vexatious Litigant List, a list of people who continually bring legal action, regardless of merit, against others with the sole intention of harassment.
