Suzuki Gixxer SF vs Gixxer: Spot The Difference

Flowed in the stream of current trend, Suzuki too launched the faired version of its successful naked bike Gixxer. In a league to know each of them better, a comparison study was just needed, and we worked out a one to rip off the cover what excitement does the Suzuki offers with Gixxer SF against the old model in order to gain a fair amount of market share. Follow us through this video to know more…
Fairing
Fairing is obvious, as one can easily spot it straight at the initial glimpse.
Weight
The addition of minute elements also adds weight; here the fairing had tipped the scale by more 4kgs than the Gixxer.
Handlebar Clamp
Earlier, the clamp of Gixxers’s handlebar was in two-piece, where for the SF it is brought to a single piece in the shape of a bridge – engineered to add rigidity.
Rear View Mirrors
Now, the rear view mirrors have changed their location from handlebar to the fairing to translate better visibility of the rear without harnessing the riding dynamics.
Exhaust Tip
Seeing to its bottom, the exhaust of Gixxer SF is done with a matte finish on the tip against the chromed touch of earlier model. Even the design is slightly tweaked.
Pinstripe Wheels
The wheels of Gixxer SF are given a treatment of pinstripe, which wasn’t available earlier.
MotoGP Livery
Finally, Suzuki has returned to the MotoGP and to carry that celebration for the Indians, it offered MotoGP edition for a slightly costlier price tag.
Hence, that was our take on both the Gixxers – naked and faired. Feel free to pen down your thoughts in the comments section below…
