Volkswagen Vento Facelift Leaked Before Official Launch
Reportedly, Volkswagen Vento facelift is leaked in clear images in Russia quite ahead of the official launch. Poised to come to India by the festive season during October 2015, the sedan based on Polo hatchback is ticked with cosmetic changes only. Naming them there appears new fog lamp cluster, brand new bonnet with fresh creases, three slat front-grille as compared to dual-slats on the earlier ones, clear edge of the bonnet with no cutouts for logo, and side indicators integrated into the mirrors.
Turning to rear, two chrome strips are placed, a one above the number plate holder and another at the bumper. Now, designers have given the cutouts for exhaust tips as well.
Hence, no fresh details about the interiors leaked, but upholstery and illumination color may change. To say precisely about the technicalities, gear ratios too see a recalibration.
Hence, in markets like India, this Vento facelift will have to rival the Maruti Ciaz and Honda City to buck up the losses the maker incurred during the past years of operations.
