FARC warns advances in peace talks are not irreversible

At the beginning of a new round of peace talks, leaders of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) warn that imposing legal formulas on a guerrilla movement could be counterproductive. Partial agreement has been reached on land reform, rebel participation in politics, and an end to the illegal drug trade. Negotiators will continue dealing with the issue of victim reparations. FARC leader Pedro Catatum, however, warned that advances could be reversed and called for realistic agreements that do not arouse false expectations. teleSUR
