Ms Marvelous "Bodywork"

Theodora "Ms Marvelous" Johnson was born July 21st in the south side of Arlington, Virginia. While growing up there, she notes her brother, local band member and R&B singer, Allen "Foots" Shorter as her main influence when it came to the arrangement of music. Other influences in music include Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Missy Elliot, and many more. Janet Jackson performances and the Fly Girls from the former nighttime comedy show, "In Living Color" influenced the performance side of Ms Marvelous. She was also involved with various talent shows from her childhood to adolescent years. She consistently wrote poetry in journals during the hardships of her life, which contributed to the penmanship and unique concepts of her songs. Ms Marvelous expresses leadership as well. Her organization skills as well as drive led to the birth of "Pretty Money", in which she serves as owner and Chief Executive Officer. "Pretty Money" is an imprint and statement of female empowerment through business, music and media which serves as the basis of her career. Ms Marvelous recently released a mixtape "Cut The Check" which generated her buzz as an artist. It binds lyrics , concepts , and substance in a beautiful marriage of music. She is currently releasing her new single "Bodywork" on Nov 25th.
