Civil rights groups call for boycott of Oscars

Civil rights groups will protest the Academy Awards ceremony this Sunday in Los Angeles to demand diversity among voters and recipients. Not a single actor of color has been nominated for an Oscar this year. According to Najee Ali of the National Action Network, all 20 nominees are white, 94% of Academy voters are white and 77% of the voters are male. teleSUR
