An aspiring young actress was recently found dead a year after she went missing. The remains of 27-year-old Carmen Yarira Noriega Esparza were discovered inside a water filtration tank at her Mexico City apartment complex.
The discovery was made after local residents reportedly complained about an unusual taste in the drinking water. Employees from the city council were trying to determine the problem when they saw something floating in the tank.
A law enforcement spokesperson explained “When they opened it up they found the body in a high state of putrefaction. The body has been taken to the Institute of Forensic Sciences where a postmortem will be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.”
