A body found in a water tank on the roof of a historic Los Angeles hotel has been identified as a missing 21-year-old Canadian woman.
Elsa Lam, a college student, disappeared in late January.
The reason for her visit to the United States is unclear but her final destination was expected to be Santa Cruz, in Southern California.
Police are investigating her death. They say it is too early to determine whether she was the victim of foul play.
