Renault Lodgy India Spec Officially Revealed

Something big is coming from Renault!
As guessed, it’s not the Duster this time. French automaker’s next offering for the country is ‘Lodgy’.
Reportedly, the India-spec Renault MPV unfolds many insights to consider it to be a compatible rival to other MPVs found here.
The first thing that can be noticed here is the largest wheelbase.
On the front, chrome grille takes the cake and Renault badge shines above all like it used to do on every model. Even the tail lights is stretched far more than usual as of company’s other siblings.
Inside the cabin, there lives a huge space that doesn’t fail to draw the attention at first sight. Over the dashboard, most of cues are borrowed from Duster.
Based on the monocoque chassis, Lodgy is lighter in weight and adorns plenty of space in the second row and third row. Even the boot space also fits to be usable as it gets the upright tail gate.
Hence, launch is expected in March 2015 and it may be priced between Rs 8-12 lakh. Must say, Maruti Ertiga, Honda Mobilio and even Toyota Innova shall get better prepared for the tough battle ahead.
