Spain: Paramedics protest health-care cutbacks with an unusual twist

In Spain, paramedics undertook a campaign called "Sanichollo" (which means "health bargains"), as part of which they roam through Madrid with their ambulances and make satirical health service offers (2 for 1 on lung operations, 40% off if the patient carries his own intravenous drip, 50% discount if he shares the ambulance with another person, etc.). The purpose of the campaign is to protest the Spanish government's cutbacks in public health. teleSUR
