Honduras agricultural loans in crisis

The Honduran National Bank for Agricultural Development is attempting to avert a crisis. The problem is two-fold, on the one hand, lack of control over the granting of loans and political decisions to condone debts held by politicians and large-scale landowners. Bank president Johny Handal says 80% of the US$100 million in loans correspond to dirty government deals. Gerardo Torres reports from Tegucigalpa. teleSUR
