Recently, the star was arrested in Manhattan for allegedly driving drunk. In the early morning hours of Thursday, officers on DWI enforcement spotted a newer model yellow Corvette weaving in and out of lanes.
Cops pulled the vehicle over and quickly noticed there was a strong smell of alcohol wafting out of the car. According to police, Valastro’s eyes were watery and bloodshot.
He also allegedly had a flushed face and was wobbly on his feet when he stepped out of the Corvette. He ended up failing a sobriety test.
The 37-year-old was taken into police custody and charged with driving while ability impaired and driving while intoxicated.
Valastro’s show has gained a steady fanbase since it premiered on TLC 5 years ago. The successful father of four owns bakeries in Manhattan, Queens, Las Vegas and New Jersey.
