Peruvians Vote in Regional and Municipal Elections

Peruvians began to vote at 8:00 a.m. More than 21 million people are expected to caste their vote. Although, Peruvians will elect more than 12,500 governors and mayors, the electoral district which is hotly contested is Lima, where the current governor Susana Villarán is looking for a re-election.
